From Dated to Dream Kitchen: A Family-Centered Transformation

To kick things off, let’s dive into one of our recent projects, a kitchen renovation that truly embodies what we’re all about.

The Project: From Dated to Dream Kitchen

Our client’s kitchen was well-loved but ready for an update. The old doors had been glazed for a distressed look, and the layout wasn’t making the most of the space. With 12 grandchildren visiting often, this client needed a kitchen that could handle big family gatherings while still feeling warm and inviting.

Here’s what we did:

  • Lowered the breakfast ledge to create a more open, modern flow

  • Built custom shaker-style doors to replace the outdated paneled fronts

  • Installed a floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinet next to the refrigerator for much-needed storage

  • Added cabinetry with an appliance garage to keep small appliances tucked away

  • Refinished all cabinet boxes and doors with Milesi industrial wood coating, in White Flower for the uppers and Hale Navy for the lowers

  • Upgraded the countertops to Brunello quartz, durable, timeless, and stunning

  • Installed soft-close hinges for seamless everyday use

  • Updated the crown trim to a clean, straight-line style to match the shaker doors

  • Installed a workstation sink making meal prep and cleanup more efficient

The transformation was incredible, bright, functional, and perfectly suited for family life. Now, this Cumming, Georgia kitchen is ready for countless meals, memories, and moments together.
