What started as a bland, underutilized mud room with minimal storage quickly became bright, organized, and highly functional space designed to support real life, beautifully.
Thoughtful Design That Solves Real Problems
Every design decision we make starts with one simple question: How do you live in this space?
For this home, daily duties like laundry, storage, and keeping shoes organized were more difficult than they needed to be. The solution wasn’t just adding cabinets. It was creating custom storage systems tailored to how this family actually lives.
One standout feature of this project is a custom 8-foot vertical, three-part DryAway pull-out system. DryAway is a trusted product brand known for its innovative, space-saving drying solutions, and incorporating it allowed us to maximize vertical storage while keeping the space clean and clutter-free. This custom configuration provides ample room for air-drying items without sacrificing floor space, a perfect blend of form and function.
We also designed a custom under-cabinet pull-out laundry rack, making it easy to manage daily laundry tasks while keeping everything neatly tucked away when not in use. Small details like this make a big difference in how a home feels day to day.
A Mudroom Designed for Real Life
The mudroom was another key transformation. This family prefers a shoe-free home, so organization was essential. We incorporated pull-out shelving specifically designed to store and organize shoes, keeping them accessible but out of sight.
The result? A space that feels calm, intentional, and easy to maintain — no piles, no clutter, just smart storage that supports the family’s routine.
